If the wig is long, make sure the strands are straightened and not bunched.

3. Apply your desired products to the wig.

Spray the wig with a conditioning spray to make it easier to detangle later. be sure to hold the bottle 10–12 inches from the wig.

If the wig is curly, consider applying styling mousse to it instead.

4. Allow the wig to air dry on a wig rack out of direct sunlight.

Do not brush the wig when it is wet as this can damage the fibers. If the wig is curled, "rub" it with your fingers frequently.

Rubbing is when you put your hand under the ends of your hair and lift it up, bending your fingers inward.

5. If you are in a hurry, blow dry the wig on your head.

Dry the wig cap with a hair dryer first. Once the hat is dry, place the wig over your head and secure it with hairpins. Blow dry with the wig on your head. Always use the low temperature setting to avoid damaging the fibres.

Before wearing a wig, be sure to tie your real hair back and cover it with a wig cap.

6. If you want more volume, turn the wig upside down to dry.

Turn the wig upside down and clip the nape of the wig cape onto the pants hanger. Hang the wig in the shower for a few hours to air dry, but do not use the shower at this point.

If you don't have a shower, hang the wig somewhere where water dripping from the fibers won't damage it.
