Allow the wig to dry completely before brushing.
Similarly, use a wire wig brush if your wig is straight or wavy, and a wide comb if it's curly. Start at the end and try to get to the root. Use a detangling product if necessary.
Re-curl the wig if necessary.
Some wigs are made from naturally curly hair. Others are made from straight hair that has been curled with a curling iron. Luckily, you can easily straighten your curls using the same techniques you use on your own hair.
Curling irons are safe because they do not require heat. If you must use a curling iron, use a lower temperature setting.
3.Keep the wig on a vase or wig stand when you are not wearing it.
If you're using a vase, consider slipping a handkerchief sprayed with perfume into it.
4,Rewash the wig when it gets dirty.
If you wear your wig daily, plan to wash it every 2-4 weeks. If you wear it more rarely, wash it once monthly.
5,Take care of your own hair if you wear the wig daily.
Just because you cover your real hair with a wig doesn't mean you have to neglect your own hair. Keeping your hair and scalp clean means your wig will stay clean longer.
If you have dry hair, moisturize it. It won't affect your wig, but it will keep your own hair healthy.
